Adjusting To Covid-19 - Green Lanes

As guidelines evolve we'll try to keep this page updated to reflect the current situation. This varies with location.

Everything Else You Need To Know

The membership number is required so we can check your membership is current, if it is not you'll be given the chance to renew or you'll be refunded. If you need help using PayPal please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I’ll try to help. If you can not make it and let me know in advance your PayPal payment will be refunded and your slot freed for another member.

Under the second round of the Tier System outdoor events in Tiers 1 and 2 are now restricted to 2,000 people so we are returning to five trucks per group max. No limits on passenger numbers but they must be members of your support bubble only. Social distancing must be observed at all times, The Rule Of Six applies to less than 2 meters so staying more than 2 meters away when ever possible is the best policy.

Under Tier 3 you are not supposed to travel outside your area unless required for work or medical reasons etc. If you live or work in a Tier 3 area please do not sign up for any green lane events until your area drops back to Tier 2 or lower. If you have already paid before your area is moved to Tier 3 please let me know and you'll be refunded.

With group sizes sometimes reduced the willingness of people to lead is critical, if you are happy to lead a group please get in touch.

If you or any member of your family or social bubble is displaying any symptoms or have been asked by the Covid-19 Contact Tracers to self isolate within two weeks of the event date please do not book onto any events until given the all clear.

If you already have a place and any of the above happens, contact us and you will be refunded.

If you want to be in the same group as a mate we'll do our best to put you in the same group and request you please arrive together. The plan is to send groups out as soon as we have a leader plus their allocated group members to prevent the number of trucks building up. You’ll be given a time slot as part of the meet up email, please do your best to be on time to assist in the prompt dispatch of your group.

If your vehicle has any known issues which means a breakdown is likely and they can not be rectified prior to the event please do not book a place. If your vehicle develops such an issue after you've booked please let us know so we can refund you and re-allocate the place. This is to minimise the chances of breakdowns during the event and thus avoid physical contact between people assisting the stranded vehicle. Additionally, it is to try and avoid a stoppage causing one group to catch up with another.

If you have issues on the day which delay your arrival at the meet point or prevent you making the event, call the person running the event so we can try to adjust the groups or if broke down refund you. Communication is key to keeping things moving and within current guidelines. If you do not show up and do not communicate a refund will not be issued.

In the event that any vehicle gets stuck and requires recovery the group leader is in charge and will request help with the recovery as they believe necessary. This is to maintain social distancing and whilst we know you all want to help you should remain well away from everything, preferably in your truck, unless your assistance is requested by the group leader. This helps observe the Rule Of Six and keep everyone safely distanced.

Should the Government or GLASS change the guidelines between this announcement and the day of the event, whatever is current will be followed.

We know this is a lot of changes but like shops and everything else we have to change to keep everyone safe whilst getting to do the green laning we love.
